BUILDING THE NEXT PHASE SITE FOR THE LEADING POOL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER
CHALLENGE
Hayward Pools, the leading pool equipment manufacturer, needed to revamp its Web site to align its online presence with its positioning the pool industry, and to provide a higher level of functionality and dealer support.
SOLUTION
D2 Creative worked closely with Hayward's marketing team to create a sophisticated design that serves the needs of three distinct audiences: pools owners, prospective pool owners, and the pool trade that likely sells Hayward products. The site is far more than “brochureware,” however. Information regarding Hayward's trade partners is imported into the Web database daily from a legacy system. This information is accessible to consumers via the site's "locator" function. Referrals from consumers are sent via email directly to Hayward's trade partners both through the locator and an interactive “MyDreamPool” configurator site which caters to pool "dreamers." The process is monitored by Hayward through a backend "referral dashboard" function. Consumers can also register their Hayward product warranties online. This information is exported regularly back into Hayward's internal systems. The Totally Hayward Partner site (www.totallyhayward.com) includes a password protected section which features a variety of tools to assist trade partners including online certification testing, and online warranty claim submission capability.
