CHALLENGE
EasyGrocer.com had a revolutionary concept in grocery shopping: to combine the convenience of online
grocery shopping with the high quality and reliability of working with a network of local merchants
familiar with the needs of their communities. But to bring this ambitious concept to fruition EasyGrocer
needed a robust data management system that could handle thousands of items, orders, and daily specials.
So EasyGrocer turned to the Web and technology integration specialists at Appliedinfo Services.
SOLUTION
We didn't just design a great site with a user-friendly interface. We developed a fully relational database
system to handle pricing and track orders while providing 24x7 site support. Additionally, we designed a
branded Web template to handle the inclusion of more local grocers and created an e-mail advertising
campaign in conjunction with Yahoo!
